GALATEA is a reading app by the same creators behind Inkitt that bills itself as a “one-of-a-kind immersive fiction app” - it takes the best stories from the reader-powered and published Inkitt app, reedits them and ads features like sound or visual effects, haptic feedback, chats, etc and republishes them. ![]() But I definitely don’t agree with it now. I don’t know if I would have agreed with Rabbit when he wrote this 2 years ago. With good persistent steroids, excellent NP refund, and some of the most useful utility an Arts Servant can have, Galatea cleanly asserts herself as the best ST damage-dealer in the game. Her kit is fairly straightforward, sure, but it also happens to be pretty ludicrously powerful. BUT then he got another buff right after her, and he’s back on top in both of those categories as well.Īnd then the amazing 4* Kriemhild dropped as well. I thought (and I assume Rabbit thought, and most of the people here on the forum) that it was just damage and refund - she did have an edge there vs. So there’s some use for her compared to him, and of course if you pull one and not the other go with that, but it’s hard for me to really see what the devs intended for her. He trades the Heal and debuff clear for NP gain and actual crit use - his NP makes 20-40 stars. So Vlad has very similar skills and use - ST Arts Berserker, stackable Guts, increased Defense, NP drain, and a selfish NP charge. His NP debuffs the enemy, so on boss rush quests it won’t help like Galatea’s would, but on break bar ones it would so 3rd NP would do: 251.5k On her own, no CEs: 66.1k average w/her 'Zerker modīut Vlad exists, and has had multiple upgrades (and is getting another soon). And unlike Archuria, but like new Orion, her NP drain is guaranteed, so it doesn’t even have the tradeoff where you maybe miss the drain and need to burn a survival skill to get through the enemy NP.īut let’s look at what she does with Double Castoria (not for refund, I’m bad at that math, just assume it’s great): Her NP damage boost is also good for 3 turns, so since it refunds, it’ll only become more powerful as time goes on. There are a few above her - Kintoki, MHXA, Cu Alter, Hiji, Vlad, and even 4* Beowulf with all of his upgrades, but only Vlad *and maybe MHXA would match her refund. without Castoria, she’s hitting for 44k neutral. Pygmalion Chisel Out: The Chisel of a King Carving an Ideal is a whopping 9-hit ST Arts NP that has a pre-cast overcharge-based NP damage buff and also reduces the enemy NP gauge by 1. Skill 2 is the priority if you want to keep her alive as long as possible. ![]() Skill 1 is definitely the priority if you want to buff her damage output. ![]() 2k/turn heal is going to do more for your supports than a glass cannon Berserker, but everyone loves a good debuff clear. However, if Galatea dies, then even if there were more turns left on it the other Servants no longer get anything. If you cycle out a support/one dies, the new Servant will continue to get the buffs as long as Galatea is alive. Technically this buff is only applied to Galatea herself, which has some strengths and some weaknesses. S3 is a delayed buff - it is a 2k/turn heal and a debuff clear for all allies on the field for 3 turns. ![]() None of her best supports offer Guts so the stackable nature of the first part of the skill might be wasted, but if you had CEs or a few less meta supports it’s a nice feature to have. There are ways around it - Defense debuffs, more attack buffs on the enemy, flat damage, Defense Pierce like on some Servant NPs but it’s a really good one nonetheless. S2 is a stackable Guts and a very fat Defense buff - for 2 hits, it will basically function as an Invincible as it is 100% Defense. Buff Removal can absolutely save you (especially with Castoria providing a form of Invincibility that has removal as the only weakness, in addition to just generally wanting your attack or defense buffs to remain), but the rest just doesn’t excite me. This is her only damage steroid and as they go, I don’t consider it amazing. S1 is a twin Arts/Buster buff of 30% for 3 turns, then a flat 20% NP battery and a 1-time Buff Removal Resist. Her useless Append 3 is a protection against being crit on by Assassins. She has a good 12% Buster passive for her 3 Buster cards and also a small Magic Resistance to make debuffs slightly less likely to occur. Obviously, HP is not as effective on Berserkers while Attack is almost always the stat you want, so she isn’t starting off in a great place. In terms of HP, she loses only to those same two. Galatea has very low attack (relative to 5* Berserkers) beating only Nightingale and MHX Alter.
